LA food blogs!

  • 4

Hi chowhounders-

I'm hoping that someone can point me in the right direction. I'm looking for Los Angeles food blogs. I know Eater, of course, but were wondering if there were others.

Thanks!

One of my recent favorites is from one of our L.A. posters, exilekiss...

By the way - Servorg, do you have a blog? You're on my shortlist of go-to posters whenever I'm looking to scratch that itch...

I am blogless in LA - just trying not to clog up the local blogosphere any more than it already is.... ;-D

Fair enough - I've just always felt that you have the intellectual resources and the experiences to have a solid blog. Many of the blogs that I've read are like bright-eyed kids revealing their first time experiences, which is great. But I haven't seen many who seem to project a sense of deep provenance in LA. Your foundation of experience comes out in your posts. "Been there, tried it, established a baseline, tried it again, tried others, went back later, compared it to to the other places, can make a strong rec either way." Of course, you don't put things this way, but I get this sense as I've read your several posts. Your knowledge of cuisines, levels and geography in this vast area puts you in a relatively elite group of LA Chowhounds - at least from my perspective. I always appreciate your valued input - thanks!
