Hi Chowhounders - I just started to come to Denver quarterly for business. Last trip I went to Rioja with a friend and we both loved it. Loved it. I'm coming back this Monday and had assumed I'd try another fave on the board (Table 6, Osteria Marco, Z Cuisine, or Fruition). But I just looked at all their websites and I'm still longing for Rioja... Which of these is good enough to make me glad I went there and not sad that I didn't return to Rioja?

Ideal arrangement would be within walking distance (or 16th Street tram + walking) of the Sheraton Downtown and not crazy loud.

Thanks!

OK - walking distance isn't crucial. I just remembered it is winter and we may not want to walk anyway!

There is no shame in going back to Rioja when you crave it. We do it again and again.

You could conceivably walk a couple feet over to Osteria Marco and share some starters (burrata! prosciutto!) and then go to Rioja for the main deal. Or vice-versa.

We did Delite and Beatrice & Woodsley on Broadway tonight in the same fashion. Split some small plates, downed some drinks, and left with happy glows on our faces. All good.

Sorry you couldn't join us. Delite had a slammin' happy hour deal going 'til, I think, 6:30 or 7 (1/2 off small plates), so we had about 8 there for what 2 cost next door at B&W. B&W must be seen to be believed--gorgeous interior with perfect lighting. The back story is a little hokey and the gimmicky sink is even more annoying after a couple of drinks, but we'll be back (not before a proper meal at Deluxe though). Perhaps I should locate the existing threads on these two (which you probably started, no?) and write more later.
