Dinner menu help for Sunday 12/7

Starting with spicy peanut soup.

I want to end with a pumpkin dessert that is not pie.

I'm looking for suggestions for a main course and a pumpkin recipe.

Thanks!

valerie's suggestion of the ginger chicken sounds good to me, and that leads me to think of a lighter dessert, such as a pumpkin souffle, a pumpkin creme brulee, or a pumpkin semi-freddo, e.g. with a passed sauce.

My choice for dessert given your parameters would be either a pumpkin bread pudding or a pumpkin cheesecake.

how about a warmpumpkin soup. Make it with canned pumpkin and apple cider add some sweet whip cream and some crumbled ginger snaps.

The peanut soup made me think of this Indonesian Ginger Chicken from Barefoot Contessa. I love it...

And I like this basmati rice that she cooked with it...

I don't have a specific recipe in mind, but this makes me think North African or Morrocan in nature?

Perhaps some kind of chicken dish with couscous with pumpkin and dried fruit...a tagine?

              Maybe a pumpkin roll?
