        <content>I read that the Suffolk County legislature has recently approved a resolution to require restaurants to list the prices of specials not on the menu.

Probably not a bad idea.  I have also noted that menus at some estblishments do not list prices for deserts and/or beverages.  I'm not talking about "special" deserts, but the run of the mill apple pie on the regular pre-printed menu.
