Whenever I make that drive I always like to stop at SeeWee Restaurant. It's right on US 17 out in the country north of Charleston. They offer grilled seafood. Here's a link: http://seeweerestaurant.com/index.html

SeeWee is definitely our favorite choice for that stretch of highway too.

and saminyc, you have like six or seven separate threads going about this same myrtle beach - charleston - savannah trip. Couldn't they just be combined into one?

mikeh good comment and thanks for all your help when I first tried an all inclusive question I got 0 replys and when I went back into help to see if I did something wrong it was suggested to be very specific when I tried that I seemed to get better responses perhaps you have a better suggestion I would have preferred to do one thread myself again thanks for all your good advice

In my opinion Perrones is hit or miss.I have had a couple of good things but overall my experiences have left much to be desired.

Salt Creek Cafe does take out.I love the food there whether it be inside or take away. And if it is between 3-6 you get early bird/happy hour price. I had the soft shell crab and filet special last week(with salad and side of garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli) and it was out of this world....22.00... That is a steal and I had the most expensive thing in my group.

Harrelson's Market also does good takout but it is only until 3 ,I think.
