French Islands Off Of Canada

I plan on going to Saint Pierre and Miquelon this July & August. For those of you who aren't Geographically savvy Saint Pierre and Miquel ia an island/ off Canada which is part of France (not a territory) and the EU. I will definitely hit the Seafood Festival in August but I'd like to know if anyone has been there and can they recommend inexpensive places and stands for lunch and nice places for dinner?

Even though these islands are not part of Canada, i suggest that you post this question on Chowhound's "Canada" board. Many Canadians visit these islands. Enjoy your trip!
