OMG! Where will I be able to buy kosher hot dogs & salami? (Central Ohio)

A mere glance at the Kosher board this afternoon has me all upset. Best Kosher is being closed by Sara Lee Corp after years of business in Chicago. We often visited the outlet store on Pershing Rd when we lived in the city. Used to buy their salamis and decorate our basement hanging them up and drying them out for extra flavor. Now that we live in Central Ohio, used to buy the salamis and franks at Sam's or Costco. Very disappointing!

Diane, my husband and I are both fairly sure that Giant Eagle carries those (the kosher hot dogs). We usually shop at the one at Sawmill and Bethel if that helps.

Is the Bexley Kosher Market still open? I know the owner was trying to sell not too long ago, with the hopes of new ownership keeping it Kosher.

Cleveland's Boris's Kosher Meat Market makes awesome Kosher salami and hotdogs. You can probably mail order from them. http://www.boriskosher.com/

Disappointing? I think I'm having a panic attack. Best Kosher Dinner Franks from Sams Club are one of just a couple reasons I join. There is not a better frank out there. There is not one even close. Something has to be done. The government needs to send 10 or 20 billion to them to keep my Best Kosher coming. Better than sending Execs to spas.
Seriously, how long will they keep in the freezer?

Obviously I was a little more upset than most at this news. I'm bumping the thread to ask if there has been anymore news about this, mainly, has there been any talk of a buyer?

You're not alone in your worries. I've looked and not found anything about Best's future prospects.
Hebrew National is all right, but Best is the Best.
