BYOB birthday dinner for 6 downtown

I'm looking for a fun place with a great atmosphere for my friends birthday for 6 this Friday. We would like to keep it as cheap as possible (BYOB would be best). The birthday girl would like the restaurant to be downtown and is a picky eater and would like somewhere with steak/pasta/pizza/burgers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It's not downtown but Lamb and Jaffy's in Brooklyn is a GREAT byob. It has a nice cozy atmosphere and I've had some great celebrations there with up to 20 people. I highly recommend it. Their burger is pretty good and I love their mussels of the day. Both are very affordable and delicious.
There are some byobs on the LES- but none are that great and there mostly thai places. Ivo& Lulus is fun but they do not take reservations and the wait is terrible.
