arriving in SF on 12/25. Looking for good places to eat around The Inn at The Opera (333 Fulton St) that evening. I'm told most places are closed on Christmas day, is that right?

You can try Open Table to see what will be open on Chrismas Day, but it will be NOT MUCH...

The best restaurants open on Christmas are going to be Chinese, but most Chinese restaurants aren't in Opentable. My guess is that you could have a pretty good Chrismas meal at Great Eastern or R&G Lounge, but you'll have to call to ask.

Z&Y Garden is featuring Christmas special meals, according to their ads in the Examiner. Z&Y could be the best dining option in Chinatown these days.
