Suggestions for a romantic anniversary dinner?

Hi there,
My husband and I are celebrating our 1st annivesary on December 26th. Any suggestions for a romantic place to go? Any part of town will do. Thanks!

i will counter-suggest Aquarelle. had a great birthday dinner there a few years ago. great food, excellent service. no loud drunks nearby.

We've had some great dinners with romantic ambiance and fabulous food at Jeffrey's and Zoot. Starlite, and the restaurants in the Driskill and the Four Season's also qualify - but not quite as romantic from my experience.

I would have to disagree with the Aquarelle suggestion. I had one of the loudest dinners of my life there. We couldn't hear each other talk. Very unromantic. The food was good, but we'll never go back. A drunk at the table next to us covered us in red wine when he knocked over a bottle. Threadgills would have been more romantic.

        Restaurant Jezebel without a doubt.
Perfect for special occassions, they usually do a card and extra dessert if you let them know and the service & food are amazing!
Do a search on this board for all the great reviews.

Aquarelle--there's plenty of other great choices, but this place has singular charm, not to mention excellent cuisine

I have wanted to try the Mansion at judge Hill and it looks like it would fill the romantic bill ...
