Surprised by Serra on Bloor St. (West of Spadina)

Three of us dropped into Serra on Bloor st. West of Spadina last night and for roughly $100 incl. tip etc. we had a very accepatable meal. A shared starter, Spicey pimento pasta, and Boar sausage pasta were excellent and Italian sausage pizza was fine. Washed down with a good house Montepulciano. Service was fast. All just starightforward, no complaints

We LOVE Serra. It's one of our top three places to eat in Toronto. We always have great service, a great ambiance and the food is consistently outstanding.
I have recommended it numerous times to friends and coworkers.

Really? The gnocchi and seafood pasta wasnt that great ... I dont think I'm going there again... :(

I had the same view Jennjen which is why I put "Surprised" in the title. It would appear that if you stay with very basic simple stuff you could be in for a pleasant experience.
