Where to buy snacks for a crowd of 300?

For DC gallery opening --- 300 people -- any ideas besides Costco?

I had a feeling that post would get axed, here's the gist of my response:

the Cap Hill Restoration Society used Cafe Roma (RFK-ish) for fairly decent Crostini and Boccachini (sp?) finger sandwiches at the House tour this Spring. no idea what the cost would be, but as it was a fundraiser, it must have been a good rate. we served approx. 1000 people and their product was consistent throughout.

    2. instead of buying, how about using a caterer, or working with lets say balducci or Wegmans to come up with stuff. Otherwise, clearly the best place is Costco
