is it true that they don't carry the DUCK CONFIT with duck chicharrones sandwich anymore?

Once i heard about it, i couldn't wait to try it, i've never had a duck chicharrones sandwich but it sounds awesome.

are there any other interesting sandwiches on the menu?

the bbq pork sandwich is decent, but perhaps a little too sweet and saucy. Just try any of the seasonal sandwiches and you probably won't miss.

aw too bad, that sandwich was the best I've had there. And i've had around 10 sandwiches at Mendocino.

Yeah, I think that was a seasonal sandwich that didn't make the regular menu. They just released their winter menu, so I haven't had a chance to sample any of the newest offerings. However, I've enjoyed virtually everything I've tried there, from standards like the "November to Remember" (basically, it's a day-after-Thanksgiving sandwich) and chicken MBT (roasted chicken w/fresh mozzarella, tomato & pesto), to more unique creations such as the Kurobuta pork belly banh mi. Yes, it's $9.75 , or what my grandfather might have called a "banh mi with a college education," but it's really delicious.
