Lunch/Dinner between Radio City and Museum of Natural History
My husband and I have a 10:00 Rockettes show this Friday morning and then we are going to the American Museum of Natural History for the afternoon and Central Park that evening (maybe a carriage ride). We would love suggestions for a casual (jeans) and inexpensive lunch place that is somewhere between the two and then the same for dinner! We don't mind walking or taking cabs. I posted earlier but I think it was way too broad and I am trying to be a bit more specific. This is his first trip to NYC. Also any suggestions for laid back bars/pubs in the same areas would be greatly appreciated!

I'm going to second the Shake Shack recommendation, but I'm also going to suggest Land Thai Kitchen, on Amsterdam between 81st and 82nd, if you want Thai food that isn't too far from the museum. They have a set lunch menu that's under $10 a person, last I checked. I'd also try the lamb massaman curry from the regular menu - it's one of my favorites from their menu.

For Greek, take a look at Molyvos-it's pretty low-key, and they have a lunch and dinner special in your price range...
http://www.molyvos.com/Another spot is AQ Cafe, Broadway and 58th-it's an offshoot of Aquavit, and has a lot of options, and is very casual-I don't think they have any alcohol, though....

http://www.shakeshacknyc.com/I recently had a pretty enjoyable meal at The West Branch-casual vibe, good service and reasonable prices-the liver and sweetbreads were especially good-

I guess price range of $10-15 for lunch and less than $30-$50 per person for dinner with a drink would be about right... we hope not to end up with any surprise $300 dinner tabs we hear about! We like just about anything except sushi or French but since we live in Texas we always get to eat Tex/mex and great bbq, etc and would like to try new things like Greek, Turkish, maybe some Thai but we wouldn't really know what to order....we love great pizza and good soup/salads/sandwiches. Does this help? Thanks so much for everyones ideas! We would like any restaurant to be within walking distance of either Radio City or the museum so I guess we could eliminate the 20 blocks in the center.....

Well, you are talking about a 40-odd block radius here. Which, geographically, is great for those of us making recommendations! But, if you can narrow it down further...you mentioned needing lunch and dinner places. But, what types of cuisine and what are your price points (including tax, tip and drinks)?
There are a ton of options in this area, so if you can clarify, you'll get some better responses.
