I went to LA in October and got to taste Otoro at Urasawa. The difference with regular "maguro" is striking and would like to find the same thing in Montreal. Anybody ever seen this on the menu somewhere in Montreal?
Jun I has it. All you have to do is ask for it specifically.
I don't know if it's something they have at all times, but I've gotten it there before with no problem and it was every bit as good as you'd imagine it to be there.
Most of the "best" sushi restaurants have some from time to time depending on availability; usually not advertised; and you need to ask.
I've had some (once or twice) at Mikado and Jun-I (both on Laurier st.ù)
