I don't know if this qualifies for your definition of Cajun, but there's definitely a French soulfood mix at Pshaw's in Hollywood.

Have you tried Rajun Cajun in Hermosa Beach -- don't know how authentic it is, but the food is good.

Have you tried the Cajun place in Downtown Disney? Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. It is a branch of a New Orleans restaurant. I've only tried the gumbo, but if it is any indication of the rest of the menu it looks promising.
