<content>Hope this response isn't too late.

It's divided into categories (I'm 3 rooms away so doing it by memory):
apps
breads
breakfasts
chicken
desserts
fish
meats
pizza
potatoes
recipe (save your own)
......

Then it goes through different choices for each item. A lot of them are for non-chowish, nationally recognized frozen product (french bread pizza, chic nuggets, etc.).

But....that's neither here nor there.....first, you use the pre-programed &amp;/or the recipe booklet just as a guide to compare with similar type items you might be preparing. For ex. my heirloom tomato/goat cheese toasts cook the same as "Texas Toast" or my Stuffed figs would be similar to "jalapeno poppers" or their chic breast pinwheel would cook the same as my rolled/stuffed flank steak.

But then you just figure it out on your own. "I want the top browned at 7, a little lighter on the bottom at, lets say 4 and a low micro at 2 or 3." It's not an exact science and you learn what works just like you learn about the hot spots in your oven.

I love the thing and could no long live without it.
