New Year's Eve in PDX

This might be a little early, but I was hoping to get recommendations on restaurants that will have New Year's Eve dinner in Portland, preferably in SE (Belmont, Hawthorne) or in the Pearl. I am not necessarily looking for a prix fixe menu, although that will work as well. As for prices, we were hoping to spend up to $100 per person.

I'm with Kim D, these would be my top picks in the city on each side of the river.

Thanks for the suggestions. I took a look at the menus and they do look incredible. My only concern is that my dining companion doesn't eat red meat or pork or shellfish, so it might be hard to find something at these places. Any veggie or fish-friendly suggestions?

Just call ahead, let them know the situation, and ask if they can accommodate you. I have taken vegan friends to both Sel Gris and Carlyle and they have had terrific meals.

You're not early at all; in fact, if you want a decent time slot, now is the time to book. Hawthorne area I would suggest Castagna or Sel Gris. Pearl area I would suggest Carlyle or Ten01. I assume all will be offering a prix fixe menu, and $100.00 sounds about right.
