I'm trying to find a recipe I once saw for spinach that is cooked with a ton of butter, and also vodka I think, over multiple days. Basically the recipe is to saute a lot of spinach in butter then refrigerate it overnight, then the next day saute it again with more butter (and maybe vodka) and return it to the refrigerator. The process is repeated for several days, and each day the spinach absorbs more butter. I believe it is a Russian recipe.

I've been Googling every combination I can think of for recipes with spinach, butter and vodka with no luck so if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, operagirl - that's it exactly. And I should have known it would be in the Greene on Greens cookbook because I actually own it (that's where I saw it but forgot) since that guy puts butter and/or cream in everything. I'm going to try this with one of those huge bags of Costco spinach.
