Brunch for 8 food-centric types

HI, Looking for a brunch spot in the Toronto area for 8 people. We are all pretty into good food and tried Aunties and Uncles are weren`t completely impressed, so maybe there is something better out there. `We`d prefer a place that takes reservations but maybe if there isn`t a good place with reservations, a place that has pretty quick turn over. Price and type of food not an issue. Just good brunch ideas.

Thank you!

Carens Wine Bar has a great brunch and there's a an area by the front window with a banquette that would fit eight easily. Not 100% sure if they take reservations for brunch.

Edward Levesque's has one of the more inventive brunch menus in the city, as well as a nice room with good space between the tables. The service can be spotty, or downright horrid if Edward himself is in one of his moods. But the food is often stunning.

I just had a wonderful lunch at Mildred's Temple Kitchen. They've pretty well kept the same brunch menu they had at Mildred Pierce.

Wow, I've never had a bad meal at Aunties and Uncles and I've been going there for about 10 years now. Place is a bit shabby, though. I'd be curious to see how you got a group of 8 in there. One of my favourites is Bonjour Brioche on Queen E., but again, not sure you can fit a group of 8 in there easily.

I like Brassaii, very good food, they take reservations and will easily accommodate a party of 8.

Hart House Gallery Grill is one of the best kept secrets in the city. The food is great, the room is beautiful, and the service is consistently good. Also a nice selection of Ontario wines too. You may be able to book the "private room" they have there.

I like the buffet at the King Edward Hotel on sundays, if that's any help.
