Scarpetta Questions

Any thoughts?
How is it priced?
Whats the dress code?
Thanks..............

Here's another thread, in which I listed some of the prices at Scarpetta. I think it is pricey, but not too much so, and it is worth it.

The night I dined there I did see children there - happily eating spaghetti with tomato and basil - so yes, they can go.

Dress can be casual, many dress a notch or two better.

      My experience at Scarpetta: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/557911
Priced very well versus restaurants of equal caliber.
Dress code was business casual or better.

Have you done a search on this board? There is a wealth of information already there.

I don't think so. I have never seen any there. If you want someplace with food of this caliber where you can comfortably bring them, try Convivio.

Have you seen children at Convivio, rrems? We've only been once since it morphed from being L'Impero, and I still seems more like an "adults only" kind of a place to me. Of course, one can take well-behaved children to just about any restaurant....

Yes, not a lot, but I have seen a few family groups there both when it was L'Impero and since it has been Convivio. In all cases, everyone looked very well-dressed and well-mannered.
