Grocery Store Open T-Day

I have a few last minute items. Does anyone know a grocery store in the Milford area that is open?

Old thread, but saved me a trip today, so bump.

Anyone have a link to the actual no-groceries-on-Thanksgiving law?

Every holiday we do a piece on what is open and what is closed plus MBTA schedule changes. For a few of those we add a link to the old Blue laws site. Here is the link we provide.

For future reference, the Golden Goose on Commercial St is open every day; including Txgiving, XMas.

They used to be a convenience store but have upgraded to a full butcher shop, veg/fruit and a good variety of higher end products.

They are likely to have most last minute items you may need and will deliver to the NE or WF.

The MA blue laws have them all closed. Small convenience stores can open. Remember the fuss when the 88 chain wanted to open on Thanksgiving?

that's really interesting - we have blue laws here in Bergen County, NJ, but all the grocery stores were open today. i guess the restrictions differ by state.

Figured out the blue laws thing a little too late. I didn't think *every* grocery store would be open, but I thought at least one or two. Thanks for those who responded. Unfortunately, what I needed was not at any convenience stores :(

I don't think everyone is following the blue laws (more typical MA silliness anyway). I saw a sign on a grocery store in Haverhill (forget which one) saying it was open on Thanksgiving.

call your local major chains [i think you guys have Stop & Shop and Shaw's there...?] most are usually open until around 2 pm on T-day.
