A birthday party kind of Izakaya ?

My sister is looking for a good place to have birthday dinner and drinks.

She'd like to try someplace new, but previously discussed options were Bistro 35 Steps and Andy's Shin Hinomoto.

What are some other good, relatively cheap places that will be accommodating to a rowdy bunch of guys and gals?

also previously discussed, Kaikaya and Sakuratei. I would like to add that I kind of want to go someplace Middle Eastern or Nepalese if not Japanese. Does anyone know of a Middle Eastern or Nepalese place with a good party/course menu??

    Thanks :)

Carthago (03-3384-9324) has a big private room in back where people can get rowdy. And they have great Tunisian and Lebanese food. Service can be a bit slow, but it's probably okay if you do a party plan.

I'll second Carthago, the food is really good, and they used to have a lot of interesting wines from North Africa.

It is about 3 minutes from Nakano station.
