Anyone know where I can purchase a couple of pigs in the puiget sound area for a pig roast and making my own ham? Any tips are greatly appreciated.

I can vouch for the deliciousness of the mangalitsa swine. He's got a website - http://woolypigs.com

If you're up for little drive, then this might be the place. Cheaper than any of the butchers (because they supply a lot of them), and our pig was still warm when we showed up. Also it was quite a scene July 3rd. Not the same sort of feel good operation as wooly pigs though...

Homeacresfarms in Everett sells whole pigs of various sizes. They're berkshire cross pigs. ebeyfarms.blogspot.com is the blog, or call them at 206 940 4980
