Advice for one Vegas Dinner

Ok...So I got a deal I couldn't pass up at the MGM Grand and I am going to be in Vegas December 18th through the 21st (leaving a.m.) Dining at L' Atelier on the 18th and going to the Las Vegas Bowl on the 20th(Hot Dogs and Nachos). So I need an idea for dinner on the 19th. My 1st two choices (Alex, Picasso) are closed. I would like to stay on the Strip. Since I am going big the first night, not looking to break the bank, but I am willing to pay for an excellent experience.

Thanks!

    1. Are you dining solo?

Bar Charlie would be perfect for a solo diner. The 14-course tasting was one of the most memorable dining experiences I've had. They also have an 8-course option.

Restaurant Charlie is a traditional dining room (unlike the bar of Bar Charlie) but serves stellor food with attentive service. It's up there with Alex and Picasso.

        1. How about Bouchon? I ate there for the first time a few months ago and I can't wait to return.

Thanks for the ideas. I decided on KOI because I have tickets to STOMP and my friend has never been there.

Koi has a fabulous sushi chef; he used to be the owner of Koto, a favorite local sushi place. Although the Hanoi roll is not on the menu, it's worth asking to see if he can make it!
