Good choice, IMO. Let us know what you think.
BTW, La Paryse has a weekday lunch special: pinto burger, fries with mayo, cola for $10. If you don't eat dairy ask them to skip the cream cheese; it is great with it, though. I have also had the pinto with that greasy salty vegetable known as bacon... I have been told this is not normal behaviour.

Copoli`s on Ste. Catherine and Metcalfe in Westmount and on de Maisonneuve across from the Vendome metro make a good veggie burger. Very `grain-y` a bit like a large flattened falafel but with other things and flavours too. It may be veggie and yummy, but not sure how `healthy` since, iirc, it`s kind of deep fried.

I believe Patati Patata has a veggie burger, on st-laurent corner Rachel. I've heard good things, but they're regular burger is too delicious. Go in off hours cause it's small and sit down, it's a good montreal experience. Get the juice.

patati patata is quite good, although it is not an actual veggie burger, but rather a slice of tofu fried on the grill and placed between a bun.

Is that as bland as it sounds? I think Patati Patata is the most overrated spot on the Plateau, by a wide margin. Tiny burgers, soggy fries - blech!

I've never had a soggy fry there and have been there many, many times.

The burgers are tiny but so are the prices!

Harvey's on peel makes the best of the fast-food-type veggie burgers IMHO

I'll second that. I'm a meat eater, and I was pleasantly surprised. One of their employees told me their regular burgers have a pretty high veggie content (20%), and are not just tofu but a multi-veggie blend. The veggie burgers are the same blend, so that's why if you like their regular burgers, as I do, the veggie burgers are so good.

La Paryse, on Ontario, has at least three veg options; I like the pinto burger the best.

I believe Mr. Steer has a veggie burger, but I have never tried it. I love their meaty burgers too much. The Curly Q fries are great.
