Best Donuts in SE Michigan.

Every Tuesday Morning at 10:30 I have a meeting at work. I think I need to treat the guys in my department to some nice donuts. Help me Obi-Wan your my only hope!

Will travel for good donuts!

This morning I am stopping at Dutch Girl Donuts at 7 Mile and Woodward.

  1. It's probably way too far out of your way, but Dom Bakeries on Washtenaw in Ypsi has wonderful doughnuts, and good cookies, croissants and muffins too. Their coffee is out of this world though. I routinely drive 7 miles out of my way for their coffee. Plus there's a drive-thru and they are open 24 hours! Bliss.

    1. It's far away, but I like Washtenaw Dairy in Ann Arbor.
They have a great cake donuts that are always super fresh.

Zingerman's Roadhouse also has super yummy ones.

I second the Washtenaw Dairy. They're 35 cents each, and scrumptious. The chocolate, coconut and maple are my favorites.

Zingerman's are fine, but it helps to eat them fresh, and I don't think they'll travel that well to your side of town.

      2. A small bakery named Roperta's (or Roberta's) in the Dearborn/Allen Park area has THE BEST cream filled donuts. My mouth is watering just thinking of them!

        1. Apple fritters, danish, and others.
