Restaurant near the CN Tower

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a nice restaurant near the CN tower, (but not in it) to go for a late (9:30-10:00pm) dinner. Ideally not too expensive, ideally not a chain, and ideally walkable (but a far walk is OK) although I would consider anything if the recommendation was strong enough.

Any suggestions are greatly welcomed.
Thank you!

  1. Any cuisine preferences? What's the group make up and numbers?

The immediate surroundings are dominated by chains or by chain quality independents. Then you've got the Financial District places, which can be fairly reasonable depending on how you order or if you stick to the bar menu, provided that you don't hit the wine list much.

Reds (in First Canadian off of Adelaide) offers some great food and can handle late diners, Bymark (with very careful ordering at the bar) can also work (Wellington west of Bay). The Irish Embassy and PJ Obrien's are two fairly close pubs that have good food, and then Biff's on Front for a bistro offering (again you might have to be careful).

Group of two, any cuisine type is acceptable. Delicious is the most important part.

      Thanks for the recommendation!
