Pecan Pie in Berkeley/Oakland?

I'm looking for the perfect Pecan Pie to bring to Thanksgiving dinner. I'm looking for whole pecans (none of that crushed/crumbled stuff) and a plentiful, sweet-but-not-disgustingly-sweet filling. Any suggestions? I used to be partial to the pie at Emil Villa's Hickory Pit in Rockridge, but they closed down a few years ago.

Many thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving!

    1. Andronico's or Whole Foods.

Andronico's Pecan Pie is very good and hard to get sometimes.

          • It's all Good Bakery in Oakland. I also hear that the pecan pie by Beckman's at the farmers markets is good, but haven't tried it yet. Both sell mini pies so you could sample to see if it is what you want.

              1. I noticed Bakesale Betty's had a pecan pie. I didn't try any since there weren't slices for sale but if they're as good as their other stuff, it could well be worth it. Their pies are on the pricey side ($25) but they weight about what two average pies weigh.
