It's not large like a Williams Sonoma or Ser Le Table but the
owner has the best of the best. His name it think is Jin. He and
his brother run the store. They have a nice selection of cookbooks
many of which are hard to find, flatware, Hermes China ( I bought
some), Knives, etc. I was once looking for some rare cookbooks
and they imported them for me. They also have some food products like olive oil, salts and cavier. They are very knowledgeable and cater to many chefs. You won't find any
bargains there but their quality it top notch and you'll find
items that are not easily accessable.

If you are headed to Le Sanctuaire to pick up the hot chocolate mentioned in the LA Times today, be forewarned: the store is sold out and currently has a waiting list. Jin, the store's extremely friendly owner, says this stuff is worth the wait though!

Very high end stuff, including knives, oils, truffles, etc I believe. Its a bit smallish, but very very nice. Think Design Within Reach for kitchen supplies.
