Strange that I found this thread a few days before I needed the Cabin. My sister passed away last week and my family was looking for a restaurant near the cemetery. I suggested the Cabin and called Liza who handles groups. Had lunch there and the food was very tasty(sliced steak/garlic mash/string beans) and a good value. The price given for 25 was very reasonable and the food and service was very good. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes there.

I taught at WCC for over 20 years before retiring in 2001. It is just down the road from the college. Log Cabin has been around since 70's. Had decent food and bar. It was nothing fancy, just your basic homestyle cooking.
I am guessing that it hasn't changed much.

re: dolores
Am heading back to the old hood - first time in 3 years!
I am wanting to visit all my old haunts.
Oh well, will have to skip the Cabin and head to Portofino's/Dominics in Goldens Bridge for the BEST pizza and Italian food in the area, if not world.
FWIW review was in NY Times
http://tinyurl.com/65no5sI need good kosher style Deli - Mt Kisco Kosher still around?

re: Shawn
I'd agree that a "good" in the NY Times suburban section is an "eh..." in most other papers. I was baffled by the good rating, giving the text of the review. Like someone wrote the text, and someone else gives the rating...
Sounds like a don't rush there to try it out if you can go elsewhere...
