I am looking for a deep dish pie plate. I saw a nice Emile Henry one, but it was about $40, which seemed a little expensive. If it's worth it, though, I'll totally go for it. Just wanted to check in and see what people think. Also, I have a metal tin and a pyrex 9-inch plate. I am really interested in a deep dish model. Thanks!

I have two Emile Henry's that I got for $15 at Tuesday Morning (a discount store in parts of the country).

I love love love them. $40 is expensive. See what they're going for on eBay.

I also have an Emile Henry deep dish pie plate that I love. I also didn't pay full price for it so you may want to shop around at all the discounters to see if you can find one somewhere for less than $40.

Unfortunately it is too late for me to contact my sister that was looking for the same months ago. She forgot all about Google search tricks. I recall last time I spoke to her she ordered 3 blue ones from-
