I have to agree with the last post about this restaurant! My wonderful, ever surprising-me boyfriend picked me up and carted me off to a "place unknown" one tuesday night for dinner. Although we had some trouble finding it...didn't expect it to be in a strip mall behind the DQ and right across the street from a high end car repair shop but once inside I was more than pleasantly surprised. It was a Tuesday night in October and we were the only people in the place so needless to say the service was awesome. I've been a server for most of my life and sometimes you lose your enthusiasm when it's slow...but our waiter was professional and attentive even when others arrived a little later. The food...Oh...the food! It's not very often that I get excited about a restaurant in Naples, Florida. Things are changing but being in the business all of my life, being a cook for a good part of it and really knowing good food has jaded me somewhat. I have to tell you that I can't stop thinking about this place!! Again, I agree with the last post. I had the langostinos...never have I had such a wonderful treat(in the States, anyway) almost as good as in Portugal. Gazpacho, the way Gazpacho is supposed to taste, with a hint of cumin and creamy smooth using oil, bread and garlic as the emulsifier. Try the chorizo cooked in cider...I thought, huhh? but the ying and yang is amazing. Can't wait to go back at Christmas, if not before. Use the restaurant. com coupon, do whatever it takes...but get to this restaurant please...it would be a shame if these artists don't make it and we have to be reduced to dine (I use the term loosely) at any number of a thousand mediocre restaurants in town.
