where can I find Italian soda in south orange county
My daughter love italian soda, and the only place I ever seen it is at california pizza kitchen, can anybody tell me where can I find it?
Believe it or not, Target markets a brand called Archer Farms that is pretty good. It is also super simple to make at home with "Torani" syrups. They have a super extensive selection and any large liquor store or coffehouse should have them available.
In addition to Target, Safeway/Vons has their own brand, as does Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. The Nordstrom coffee carts in San Diego County make Italian sodas also.
Toriani and/or Monin syrups are sold at Smart N Final, Albertsons, Ralphs and Cost Plus and those can just be mixed with soda or mineral water.
I assume you're referring to Orange County, CA, but it's a good idea to clarify that in future posts (or post on the appropriate regional board). There are a lot of OC's in the US... I have to agree with michitom though, here in Orange County, NC :) Target it probably the best place to get Italian soda. Starbucks also makes them.
(mpjmph: The OP did indeed post to the correct board (L.A.) and did not need to clarify which Orange County they were referring to. Be careful when clicking on other Chowhound board links and you won't be lost...)
monkfanatic: In addition to the above, Costco is selling (for the time being) cases of San Pellegrino Limonata and Aranciata for around $14.
If you're still around, it's in north Orange County, but in Yorba Linda off Yorba Linda Blvd near the Nixon library is a little place called stephano's. Not only do they have amazingly good Italian soda they make there, they also have great sandwiches an a awesome Italian wedding soup.
