Hi,
Going to see Michael Buble next week at Mohegan Sun. Looking for someplace to have dinner without it being a tourist trap. Any recommendations?
Thanks for any help you can give.

I have never had a bad meal at Michael Jordan's Steakhouse, though it is not cheap. However the atmosphere , service, and food are great. Michael Jordan's Sports Cafe next door is also very good and cheaper, but the atmosphere is that of a sports bar. I highly recommend the garlic bread w/maytag blue cheese fondue at either. The Irish Pub at the casino is awful, stay far away. There is a food counter not far from the Wolf's Den that serve a mainly Asian population that has great food if you want something cheap and super casual. The roast meats and sushi are fantastic.

I agree that Michael Jordans is the best place for a meal. I am up there quite a bit and last week I gave Tuscany a last try. I won't go back. Scallops were overcooked, risotto had no taste and the service was horrble at best. The longhouse is a pretty good second to Jordans as the steaks are very good. The summer shack is very casual and the apps are great. The entrees are ok, so I just like to sit at the bar, which is very lively and order some drinks and apps. Griled clams are very good as is anything fried! Havent been to Margheritaville yet but went to the one in Key West, not bad. If you are going on a busy night, I would suggest you make a reservation.
