Houlihan's - Stamford [moved from Tristate]

I just drove by and the sign out front says "Now Open"...I may try it out tonight!

They had a location in the Holiday Inn in North Haven that quickly failed.
Very inconsistent food at higher than need be prices.

Yes it is, I've been to one in SFO, barely a step above Mickey D's but, a lot more money. Pass on it and find a local place.

I went there and found the food to be really crappy and way overpriced for what I got. Niether myself or the person I went with wanted to finish our food. The decor was nice, but I won't be back there again.

Really think you should give it another try. Although it is a chain, they really are above many others in terms of food, service and decor. A nice alternative to some of the pricier restaurants that have opened in Stamford.

I was curious so my wife and I went last week. We both were very impressed. The decor was very modern and the bar was great. We started off with mini burgers and Thai wings...both were awesome. I had the sirloin with loaded baked potato. The wife had the burger. Both were very tasty. I did have a problem with the service. Our server was friendly but a bit slow. However I'll chalk it up to a new opening. I'll be back!
