Great, thanks, I shoulda searched before posting. Sounds like it's worth a shot for certain things - I like the idea of greens, where you're not actually using any meat. Popcorn? I guess I'll just have to try it.

I have to warn you - it's addicting! They now sell it at Krogers, so I have the original, hickory and peppered. Man alive, the things I have tried it on. Like you, I like having the flavor of bacon without all the fat of the actual meat. And it is pretty low sodium as well. A win win in my book.

clic on the nutritutional info for the individual product and you'll get the pop-up with the ingredients - a mighty list of dehydrated things and diglycerides... but the good news is - it's kosher!

How so? There's a K on the label even on the natural one.

I see that. I am not familiar with Kosher foods, but if you look under the kosher certification section it says something about some being kosher parve, and some being kosher dairy. I must have read that awhile back about it not being kosher and then they changed? Or I had a dream. LOL

I just bought some. I'm not too impressed. The ingredient list is long, and that, to me, is a bad sign, but I bought it anyway. Just another season salt with a smokeyish flavor. I think it's going to sit in the back of my cupboard for a long time.
