I am complete agreement with this one. Their lemon meringue pie is simply scrumptuous. Not all lemon meringue pies are the same...alot of it has to do with the crust.... I'd go get one today but I'm still stuffed from yesterday's 3 pieces of cake and pie from Susina. For those who are willing to drive all the way to Los Feliz for lemon meringue pie/tart or whatever it is...Alcove has one of the best I've ever tasted besides SLJ...the only stumbling block is the price....$70 for one....I find that price a little much for a pie when people are losing their houses from fire and late mortgages.
