Need 2 Feed: a lot of people in S. Kingstown, RI
We're having a party in a few weeks. Actually, it's a rock and roll concert with Foxtrot Zulu, but basically we've offered to serve dinner included in the ticket price. Being that a few of us in the band are serious foodies, we want to have something a little different. Can anyone lend some suggestions for tasty, slightly outside of the norm, high volume food that is both easy to make/serve and economical? Thanks.

Pig Roast.
Oh, please do tell when and where. Was listening to Tom's Diner yesterday, but haven't seen the band since the Bon View days.

re: Alica
They do - Great food actually. -But the band was working on the menu with them. It ended up being classic Ocean Mist Buffalo and Teriyaki wings (in my opinion the best in the world), Mexican lasagna, Meatballs, Baked ziti and sausage w/ peppers and onions. It wasn't quite as "out of the ordinary as I would have liked but it was great nonetheless. Next year we'll have more time to plan and make it even better.

I suggest Caribbean foods - Jamaican, Dominican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, etc. These cuisines are all based on simple, inexpensive foods that taste great, can fill you up, and are suitable for crowds. Where's the show, btw? Can we get tickets?
