Best Late-Night Dessert in NYC - Manhattan
I just found out that my husband and I are going to New York on Monday (11/24) for a work event -- the event lasts from about 6:30p until about 9:30p -- I was hoping that someone could recommend a great late-night dessert place to go - just the two of us or maybe a small group. I'm looking for someplace that also offers drinks/wine, etc. -- if there is a place that also offers great music and atmosphere...all the better -- and yes, I know I want it all...it's just my nature...LOL

Caffe Vivaldi in Greenwich Village. Lovely, with a fireplace too! Or, "One If By Land, Two If By Sea", they usually have a pianist and they also have a fireplace. I guess I associate late nights with a warm fire!!!

Tuck Shop, an Australian bake shop on 1st street b/t 1st and 2nd avenue serves some amazing desserts until 5am on weekends...
Vanilla Slice - vanilla custard b/t 2 pastry puffs topped with vanilla icing
Lamingtons - two pieces of sponge cake with jam in between rolled in chocolate and coconut

Try Chickalicious (it's small though) but the dessert is great and they have wine pairings with it. Also MIlk bar that just opened.
