Open in SF on Thanksgiving?

Bay Gelldawg Nov 19, 2008 06:36 PM

I'm looking for restaurants that will be open Thanksgiving Day and just serving their regular menu. A friend and I will probably see a movie and have dinner, so something near a movie theatre would be good. Not looking for anything expensive or fancy.

I'm figuring most places in San Francisco other than fast food, hotel restaurants, and maybe Chinese restaurants will be closed, so posts about any exceptions will be welcome. I saw the Chronicle article about restaurants open on Thanksgiving, but I'm not looking for Thanksgiving Dinner in a restaurant, if you know what I mean.

Look at opentable.com for the list of restaurants open on Thanksgiving. They mention restaurants that will be serving a regular menu.

This may or may not help, but quite a few restaurants are open on Thanksgiving in North Beach and Fisherman's Wharf because they are in heavy tourist-traffic areas.
