Last time we ate at Mesa Grill, Burger Bar at Mandalay, Nobhill, Michael Mina and Bartolotta. The year before we went to Joel Robouchon, Commander's Palace, Delmonico and a few others that weren't memorable. Staying on the strip, but will probably have a car. We generally like all kinds of food with the stipulation that they have to accomodate a dairy allergy. Looking for a good steakhouse, good seafood, Asian food open to all kinds just not fusion, a breakfast spot, good bars for cocktails. Price is not a huge consideration as long as there is value. Joel Robuchon was amazing, but not the kind of experience I need more than once every 5 years or so. Quality of food and service are most important factors. Atmosphere less so. We will definitely make a lunchtime visit to In-N-Out since they don't have any in the Pacific Northwest. I look forward to your suggestions. I also expect it won't be long before the place closes given the present economic climate, so if it's within your budget I would jump at the oportunity to try it.
