Any happy hour spots in downtown DC?

DCResider Nov 19, 2008 11:44 AM

Looking to meet a friends after work for happy hour in the downtown area, preferably on the red line metro (McPherson Sq, Chinatown, Metro Center). Any recommendations? It can be fancy or casual.

PS7 near Chinatown has a great happy hour. Excellent cocktails, house wines, and absolutely delicious appetizers!

I 2nd this recommendation. It's my favorite happy hour spot. I love the champagne cocktail and the mini tuna tartar sliders. Mmmmm! Plus its affordable.

I third it - try the gimlet! Then, when happy hour ends at 7, walk to Oya, a block and a half away, for their cheap drinks and sushi until 8. The cilantro daiquiri is really, really good.

Or their $30 pre-fixe special which always seems to be on their menu.
