Cigar Friendly Restaurant
I am looking for a restaurant that allows cigar smoking (or at least one with a bar that allows cigar smoking) to celebrate a 50th birthday. Party will be 15 people. Just basically looking for a nice place that will at least allow cigar smoking in some part of the establishment. I've looked around but haven't found anything that fits the category.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think you can smoke at Campbell Apartment (but check!) so you could eat at Michael Jordan's and then go there.

This is tricky.
Havana room is the only place that does the cigar/ dinner combo properly. However it is a membership only establishment, membership costs tens of thousands a year, and there's a wait list that was about two years long - last time I checked. I've only been once as an invited guest, and it is heaven on earth.
The way the Cigar smoking laws are structured, any establishment wishing to allow cigar smoking must have opened prior to December 31, 2001, 10% of revenue must come from the sale of tobacco products, and 60% of revenue alcohol sales. So most places are not incentivized to sell good food, or they run the risk of selling more food than alcohol & tobacco, and then being shut down from allowing cigar smoking.
I'm also pretty sure that Angelo & Maxies no longer allows cigar smoking.
I do have a better idea...
Go out for a nice dinner somewhere in the west village, then stroll over to hudson bar & books for your cigar and port.
You can also do something similar in the east village and head to velvet lounge afterward.
Unfortunately, restaurants in the east and west village for groups of 15 are not my strong suit.
Hope that helps

Florios in Little Italy (Grand between Mulberry and Mott) allows and sells cigars.

Florio's is probably the one of the last restaurants in the city that allows cigar smoking. Grand Havana Room requires membership or a an invite from a member. Club Macanudo is a cigar lounge that serves food.
