Best Caesar Salad at CoffeeBar
Yup, at Coffee Bar. Actually, all their food is great. But this salad, while perhaps not totally traditional, was the highlight. Chopped romaine, a ton of shaved parmesan, nice croutons, a non-creamy lighter but tasty dressing, and a heap of white anchovies. Yum!!
And everything else was good too: a salumi plate and a cheese plate. Both with good accompaniments and tasty bread, especially the foccacia with the salumi. Oh yeah, and their Kenya AA single origin espresso in a machiatto. A great ending.

That salad sound great. Could you tell us what city (or part of SF) Coffee Bar is located in?

re: grayelf
Despite the address, it's actually around the corner from Bryant Street if I recall, so it's easy to miss driving by. There's a courtyard in the front, with a big bbq drum (I think?) along with other mysterious looking gear. No idea what they use it for. Inside it looked more set up for dining then sipping coffee actually.
