Hi,

I'm looking for suggestions for happy hour deals in the Columbus area - upscale and not downtown, please.

All the best!

The Refectory on Bethel Rd has 1/2 off appetizer deals on weekdays from 4:30 - 6:30... http://www.therefectoryrestaurant.com...

Definitely upscale and certainly not in the downtown area -- thank goodness! :)

J Gilberts Woodfire Grill in Worthington-
1 east campus view blvd (you will find them at opentable dot com)
relaxing atmosphere (dark wood) & friendly bartenders , you gotta try the Chicken Quesadilla with Blackened chicken and hot pepper jack cheese.
PS..I too agree that the Worthington Inn is lovely.

Definitely check out the Worthington Inn on North High Street near 161. They have a really nice bar area in the back with happy hour daily from 4-7pm (or 6 but I think 7) with $2 domestic bottles, $2 off wine and half off appetizers, which if you've ever had them, are really good. You can also order off the full restaurant menu sitting in the bar, which is one of my favorite ways to eat. But you could easily make a nice meal off of the half-price apps. Husband and I went last weekend and had the house-made potato chips with melted blue cheese for $3.50. Amazing and even shared, nearly spoiled our appetites for dinner.
