American, fake belgian, real Belgian (both types), insanely over the top...where are the best. IS there a Waffle House in town>

Every Waffle House I've been to has been uniformly disgusting. Makes Denny's look like Square One in comparison. You might want to try Dupar's or The Griddle. For great French Toast, try the aforementioned Square One in Hollywood.

While there have been some terrible reviews of The Waffle it has gotten some better reviews of late. We have not been yet.

We have two great places in the South Bay, The Original Pancake House on PCH in Redondo Beach and Uncle Bill's in Manhattan Beach. Uncle Bill's has a great cheddar cheese and bacon waffle.

Not sure where you are located, but if you're willing to venture into the San Fernando Valley, there's "More Than Waffles." Not a big fan of the musician that plays there on the weekend, but their waffles and omelettes are delicious!
