Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Greater Chicago

In Search of Manakeesh

I moved to Chicago in September as a grad student at Northwestern Univ. I was living in Dubai, UAE for 2 years and fell in love with manakeesh. I am looking for any arabic/middle eastern places that make this fresh. Especially a zaatar / cheese one. Any ideas??!!!

    1. i'm also in chicago and used to live in the UAE. I was looking around and found this place. Haven't been here yet but looking to check it out this weekend. Hope it helps.

          there's also a really good middle eastern grocer and bakery on foster and clark. in uptown.
