Lunch Spots near Montauk Point, LI

Heading out to Mountauk for a day trip. Looking for something yummy, where to go?

Are places still open this time of year?

Not sure what time your heading out, but Mary's Marvelous in Amagansett is a good stop for am coffee & a snack.

There are about 5 local type places open most days, plus a couple of pizzerias. Nothing fancy. Unless you eat in Amagansett or East Hampton before or after.

Which places are those that are near Montauk?

O'Murphys right in the center of town might be your best best. They're closed Tuesdays I believe. They actually have heat so that's a bonus if it's cold or windy out! It's an Irish pub but they have a large selection of different dishes. Everything is good.

O'Murphys is good. Last time that I was there, the bartender somehow did a shamrock on top of the Guiness. When I was there in the summer, they had a two for one entree special. Check which days they are open.
