Cafe Pi?

Can anyone give me some feedback on Café Pi on St-Laurent? We're from Ottawa, but my teenage son is a competitive chess player, and would like to check out the scene there next time we're up. I'm more interested in hearing opinions on the coffee and sustenance....

Good, fair-trade organic coffee. Free wifi. I've only been once, didn't play chess, but it doesn't seem like a insular place, so your son should probably not have any trouble finding a game.
